Membership Terms

These terms govern your membership in the Hillside Paws Supporters Club and your use of this website. By joining, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't join.
Who we are
This website and the Supporters Club are operated by HillSide Paws in connection with Hillside Paws Rescue, a cat shelter in Tyler, Texas.
What membership includes
Every plan includes: (1) behind-the-scenes updates from the shelter, posted at least once a week; (2) access to a private supporters' group on Telegram; and (3) the option to have a name of your choice listed on the Wall of Supporters. The plans differ only in the monthly price you choose to pay — the benefits are the same.
Not a donation
Membership is a paid subscription for the benefits above. It is not a charitable donation and is not tax-deductible. Membership fees are used toward the shelter's day-to-day costs.
Billing and renewal
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment provider and merchant of record. By joining, you also agree to Paddle's own terms and privacy policy, available at paddle.com. Membership renews automatically every month at the price shown when you joined, until you cancel. If we ever change a plan's price, we'll tell you in advance and the new price will only apply to future renewals.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. See our Cancellation & Refunds page for how, and for what happens to your benefits and payments.
Community rules
Please be kind and respectful in the supporters' group, don't post spam or unlawful content, and don't share the private invite link or reproduce members-only content outside the group. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules from the group; if that happens we'll cancel their subscription so they aren't charged further.
The Wall of Supporters
Listing your name is optional. By submitting a name, you agree that it may be shown publicly on this website. To have it removed, email hello@hillsidepaws.org.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or to submit false or misleading information.
Content and intellectual property
The text, photos, and video on this site and in the supporters' group belong to HillSide Paws or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking us first.
No warranty
This site and membership are provided “as is.” We do our best to keep updates coming and the site available, but we don't guarantee they will be free of errors or interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HillSide Paws is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your membership.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continuing your membership after a change means you accept the current version.
