This Privacy Policy explains what information HillSide Paws (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit this website or join the Hillside Paws Supporters Club, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you join, your payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”) — we never see or store your card information. Paddle collects your email address and country to process your membership and send you receipts. Because membership renews monthly, Paddle also stores what's needed to bill you each month and to let you manage or cancel the subscription yourself. If you choose to be listed on the Wall of Supporters, you give us the name you'd like displayed. Providing it is optional. We receive it by private message, together with your plan and payment reference, so we can add it to the wall. We also use analytics tools — the Meta (Facebook) Conversions API, Microsoft Clarity, and our own server logs — to understand how visitors use this site (for example, which sections get read, whether the video is watched, and where visitors come from). These tools may use cookies and collect your approximate location (from your IP address) so we can show prices in your local currency (USD, EUR, or GBP).
The supporters' Telegram group
The supporters' group runs on Telegram. When you join, other members can see the name and username on your Telegram profile, as described in Telegram's own privacy policy. We don't receive your Telegram details from Paddle, and we don't link your Telegram profile to your payment.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of first-party cookies: one to remember which ad brought you here (if any), and one anonymous ID used only to improve the accuracy of our advertising analytics. Microsoft Clarity, and the Meta Pixel if enabled, may set their own cookies in your browser — see their respective privacy policies for details.
How we use your information
We use the information above to: process your membership and send receipts; show you the right currency for your region; add your chosen name to the Wall of Supporters; understand and improve this site; and, where applicable, measure and improve our advertising.
Sharing your information
We share information with the service providers that make this site work: Paddle (payments), Meta (advertising analytics), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), Mux (video hosting), and Telegram (the supporters' group and the private message that carries a Wall of Supporters request). We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it's used. For anything related to your payment or subscription, Paddle can help you directly through the link in your receipt email. To have your name removed from the Wall of Supporters, or for anything else, contact us at hello@hillsidepaws.org.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
